Transaction batches

Batches of transactions pushed back to your accounting system.

Overview

Group materials and labour transactions into a batch, check them over, and process them through together - rather than one at a time.

The Transaction Batches screen

The batch list

Shows every batch by Date, Batch Name and User, with Open to view it, or Add New Batch to start one.

Inside a batch

Each line in the batch has a Date, searchable Job, searchable Product, a Product Location, and a Quantity - with Copy to duplicate a line quickly and Delete to remove one.

  • Add Line appends a new empty row.
  • Save persists the batch without processing it, so you can come back later.
  • Process Batch saves it and marks it processed.

Processing a batch pushes every line through to Infusion Online as transactions against their jobs.

Processing a batch sends every line to Infusion Elite through the Tradie connector, posting them against their jobs. The connector must be running for a batch to process.

Lines are posted one job at a time. If a job fails - its lines are refused, or the connection drops part way through - the jobs already posted stay posted, and the batch stays in the list with an error naming the jobs that failed. Fix the problem and click Process Batch again: it posts only the jobs that failed, never the ones that already went. Lines already posted can’t be edited anymore.
