Customer history
Look up any customer and see their equipment, contacts and every job you have done.
Customer history answers the question a customer asks on the phone - “when were you last here, and what did you do?” - without anyone digging through the accounting system. It lists the customer’s equipment as well as their jobs.
Open it from the Customer History icon in the header strip. It needs Infusion Online or Infusion Elite; the entry does not appear on Accredo Saturn, which has no customer item concept.
Finding a customer
The list shows Code, Name, Phone and Email, and the search box above it matches on account code, name, trading-as name, phone and email. Customer lists run to thousands of accounts, so the table fills in as you scroll rather than all at once.
Click a row to open that customer.
The customer screen
| Section | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Details | Account code, trading-as name, account type, phone numbers, email, website, payment terms and addresses. Balance and credit limit show for administrators only. |
| Contacts | Each named person on the account, with their position and their own phone and email. |
| Customer items | The equipment on the account - whatever your business calls it. Each row shows its key, description, serial and status. |
| Jobs | Every job for this customer, newest first, in pages. |
Click an item row to expand it. You get the item’s full details and an Open History button.
Click a job row to expand it in place. Load Transactions fetches the materials and purchase orders on that job, Load Checklists fetches the completed forms, and memos, images and attachments appear alongside. Load more brings in the next page of jobs.
The item history screen
Open History opens one piece of equipment on its own, showing:
- Every field the accounting system holds for it, including any custom fields, and a Custom fields block for Infusion Elite’s own extras.
- Jobs - every job done against that item, each expanding the same way as on the customer screen.
- Invoices - where your accounting system links invoices to the item. Expand a row to see its lines. Infusion Online does not link them, so the block is absent rather than empty there.
- Related - the sales leads, tasks and recurring job templates that point at this item.
If the item shows “Includes jobs updated in Infusion since Tradie On The Move began syncing them”, the list starts from when syncing began. There is no backfill of older work.
Reaching it from a job
When a job has a customer item on it, the item’s name in the job details pane is a link. Click it to open that item’s history without leaving the calendar - closing it puts you back exactly where you were.
