Change theme & dark mode
Choose Tradie Classic or Tradie Light, turn Dark Mode on, and set the text size.
Tradie Mobile has two looks, Tradie Classic and Tradie Light, and a Dark Mode that works with either. The choice is per phone, so set it the way that suits you.
Step by step: change the look
- Tap the gear to open Settings.
- Open Layout.
- Tap Tradie Classic or Tradie Light. The picture under each shows what it looks like.
- Tick Dark Mode for darker colours, or untick it to go back.
The change applies straight away.
The two looks
- Tradie Classic - the original Tradie style, with a dark header.
- Tradie Light - the newer, cleaner style, with a white header.
Dark Mode
Dark Mode darkens backgrounds and lightens text, which is easier on the eyes at night. It works with either look, so there are four combinations.
Job status colours keep their meaning in Dark Mode; only the screen’s background and frames change.
Text size
Further down Layout, drag the Zoom Level slider to make everything larger or smaller. The example text shows the size as you go. Tap Save Zoom Level to keep it.
Home screen layout
Layout is also where you choose the Classic list or Dashboard home screen. See The Dashboard home screen.
Troubleshooting
- The look did not change. Go back to the home screen; if it still looks the same, close the app fully and open it again.
- Text is too small to read. Raise the Zoom Level and save it.
