Look up a customer
Find a customer on your phone and see their contacts, equipment and past jobs.
Standing on site and need the customer’s contact, or want to know what was done here last time? The Customers screen holds their details, the equipment on their account, and every job you have done for them.
Step by step: open a customer
- Tap Customers on the home screen.
- Type any part of their account number, name, trading-as name, phone or email into the search box.
- Tap the customer in the list.
- Tap Select Customer.
Long lists load a page at a time - tap Show more for the rest.
What the customer screen shows
| Section | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Details | Account number, trading-as name, account type, phone numbers, email, website and payment terms. |
| Contacts | Each named person on the account. Tap a number to ring it, or an address to email it. |
| Addresses | Postal and Delivery. Tap either to open it in your maps app. |
| Customer items | The equipment on the account - whatever your business calls it. |
| Jobs | Past jobs, behind a Load Jobs button. |
Account balances and credit limits are not shown on the mobile app.
Past jobs
Tap Load Jobs to fetch them - they are not downloaded until you ask, so opening a customer for a phone number costs nothing. Jobs arrive newest first, ten at a time, with a Load more row at the bottom.
Tap a job to expand it. You get its header, the materials and purchase orders on it, memos, images and attachments, and any completed checklists.
Job history needs a connection. Offline, the screen says so rather than leaving you on a spinner.
The equipment on an account
Each item row shows its key and description, with its serial, type and status underneath. Items no longer in use are greyed out and marked (inactive).
Tap a row to expand it for the item’s full details, then View History to open everything that has ever been done to that item.
