Overview
There is no field for uploading PDFs, documents or other files to a form. The only upload a form takes is a photo, through an Image Upload field. Other files belong on the job.
What forms can take
- Photos - with an Image Upload field. It accepts images only and rejects anything else.
- Signatures - with a Signature field.
Where other files go
| The file | Put it |
|---|---|
| A document the customer gave the technician | Photograph it with an Image Upload field, if it belongs with the form |
| A file the technician needs on site | On the job in your accounting system - it then shows on the phone. See Open a file attached to the job |
| Reference material for every job | In the Document Vault. See The Document Vault |
The completed form itself
The finished form can be attached to the job as a PDF or Word document, and emailed, when it is saved. That is set in the form’s Availability. See Publishing forms & availability.
