Overview
CheckBox is one tick box - ticked or not. Use it for confirmations such as “I have isolated the supply”. For a list where several answers can be ticked, use a Multiple Choice field set to tick boxes.
Step by step: add a tick box
- Select the section it belongs in.
- Click CheckBox under + Add Fields.
- Type the statement in Heading, written so ticking it means yes - “Area left clean and tidy”.
Its own setting
- Show on report as ✓ and ✗ (default is Yes and No) - print symbols instead of words.
It also has the settings most fields share.
On the phone and the report
The phone shows a plain tick box. The report prints Yes or No, or ✓ and ✗ with the setting above.
